Pages from my sketchbook

Sketches in pen & ink and felt-tip pen from various sketchbooks and various times.

I drew this from an old oil painting I found in the library at Farnham, Surrey. Such an unusual painting of the end of a magnificent 18th century fighting ship.
The sun setting on a yacht of indeterminate age. Actually I drew this from a model I had on my mantelpiece at the time, but I think it has a nice feel. Ink pen.
My daughter Abi's toys. She's twenty-six now and probably doesn't remember them, but I do. Ink pen and wash.
Three wolves. Pen and wash.
Wolf. Pen and wash.
Traveling funfair at Forres, Moray, known locally as 'the showies'. When I looked up from drawing this, the whole castle had been deflated. That's show business for you. Pen and wash.
Craigroy near Dallas, Moray. Pen and wash.
Kellas Estate HQ. Pen. wash and gouache. I remember being nearly eaten alive by midges when drawing this, but I finished it somehow...
